The College of Fine and Applied Arts at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign announces the success of its BRAVO! Illinois Arts campaign which earned more than $18 million for the arts at Illinois. A unique fund-raising initiative, BRAVO! focused on preserving the long-term financial stability of its world-class performing and visual arts units.
Endowments, of all private giving, offer perhaps the most influential of investments in higher education, creating legacies that span generations. In the same way, the funds earned through Bravo! Illinois Arts ensure that the stellar training of future artists and diverse arts programming continues within the alliance of artistic entities at the U of I by acting as a self-renewing resource.
The arts have always relied upon generous patrons to step forward and assure the future life of creativity and great art. The College of Fine and Applied Arts is grateful to its alumni and friends for supporting the arts on campus with both their financial gifts and their physical presence.
