Careers

The FAA Career Services Office is here to provide students in the visual and performing arts with the tools to build and invent their own creative careers.

"We’re one of only three universities in the country that provides arts students with these kinds of programs and opportunities. I think that speaks volumes about the leadership in the College of Fine and Applied Arts. It shows that they have chosen to focus not only on turning out world-class artists, but also on giving them tools they’ll need to achieve the success they deserve.”

- Michele Plante, FAA Career Services

The office is part of the Office for Undergraduate Academic Affairs in the College of Fine and Applied Arts. In addition to bringing in speakers on careers in the arts, marketing, entrepreneurship, and business practices, we provide portfolio reviews, career counseling, and résumé and cover letter critiques.

FAA 300

The College offers the course Self-promotion and Entrepreneurship in the Arts - the course explores careers and professionalism in the arts while providing students with the tools they need to succeed financially as well as artistically.
