Careers

The College of Fine and Applied Arts Career Services Office provides students in the visual and performing arts with the tools to build and invent their own creative careers.

The School of Architecture hosts Career Expo each spring for students in our Environmental Design professions (Architecture, Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning).

All students at the University of Illinois can also utilize the services of the Career Services Office

Commencement

Graduating students in the College of Fine and Applied Arts may participate in the May campus graduation ceremony. Visit the commencent web site for information regarding tickets, attire, schedules and locations.

The College does not offer graduation ceremonies in December. August graduates may participate in both campus and departmental ceremonies the preceding May. December graduates should contact the office responsible for the graduation ceremony they wish to participate in to determine their eligibility for participation a May ceremony.

In addition to the campus-wide ceremony, individual Departments and Schools within the College have their own May graduation ceremonies. Students should contact individual Department offices for information.
