Future Student Information - Urban and Regional Planning
|
Students should fill out the standard University of Illinois application. On the application, you may only apply to one program; however you can check a box stating you would like to be considered for other related majors. If the box is checked, students applying to one of the Environmental Design programs will be considered for the other two programs if they are denied entry into their first choice. For example, if a student checks the box, applies to Urban and Regional Planning and is denied, they will be considered for admission to either Architecture or Landscape Architecture. Students should realize that if they then accept an offer of admission to Landscape Architecture they will be required to follow the Landscape Architecture curriculum, and no guarantee of eventually being able to transfer into Urban and Regional Planning is given. The Urban and Regional Planning homepage provides detailed information on courses, requirements, faculty interests, career options, and student organizations. Students applying to the Urban and Regional Planning program will be notified on one of the two standard admissions notification dates: December 15, 2006 and March 1, 2007. |
