Students should fill out the standard University of Illinois application. You must then provide additional application materials (see below) before an admission decision can be made. The Office of Undergraduate Admissions will notify you once a decision has been made. You will not hear from the individual Department. The Art & Design homepage provides detailed information on courses, requirements, faculty interests, career options, and student organizations.Â
Portfolio ReviewArt + Design students must pass a portfolio review. Submit your application to the University and mail your portfolio to Art + Design at the same time. Detailed instructions, names and addresses and the portfolio submission form is available at www.art.uiuc.edu/a+d/places/admin/ad_newfreshman.html.
