International Programs

Students in FAA have a range of opportunities for study abroad. They can choose among study abroad programs in Versailles, Rome, Paris, Glasgow, Coenhagen, Shanghai, India, Costa Rica, Munich, and Denmark. They might participate in interdisciplinary studies to collect data and propse creative design and planning alternatives for sustainable development for local projects or they might visit museums, galleries, and theatres of historical significance with Illinois faculty members as their guides. The Study Abroad Office offers information on programs, travel, and financial aid specifically for study away from campus. Office of Scholarships for International StudyFine and Applied Arts students from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign are regularly successful at winning prestigious international awards like the Fulbright and Rhodes. One of the keys to a successful application is to develop it over several years. Guidance and resources to that end are available through the Office of Scholarships for International Study. If you are interested in international undergraduate study and/or research, please visit the Office of Scholarships for International Study website or contact Program Director David Schug.
