East St. Louis Action Research Project (ESLARP)A Community Assistance and Development Project guided by Action Research, Service Learning, and Neighborhood Partnerships. Faculty and students from several campus units collaborate with each other and East St. Louis neighborhood groups on highly tangible and visible projects that address the immediate and long-term needs of some of the city's most distressed communities. International ProgramsA variety of study-abroad programs are available in the Arts at Illinois to give students in all academic units international experience. To learn more about our international programs, visit the Special Programs section of our Student Handbook The FAA International Arts Minor complements all majors at the University of Illinois. The FAA International Arts Minor may be taken by students in any UIUC college outside of FAA, and students in FAA. If you have questions about the International Arts Minor, contact our Office of Undergraduate Academic Affairs.
InternshipsStudents in the College of Fine and Applied Arts are encouraged to supplement their classroom education through internships. Students need to discuss opportunities with their advisor prior to acceptance of an internship if the student wishes to earn academic credit for the internship. The FAA Career Services Office can help students find and prepare for internship experiences.
