An International Scope

While the College has its home base in central Illinois, our students traverse the globe—artistically, intellectually, literally, and virtually—as a way to understand other cultures, societies, and social identities.

Some pursue study abroad opportunities, but students don’t have to leave the classroom to explore the international scope of the fine and applied arts at the University of Illinois.

The arts are inherently universal, and through these opportunities and the College’s International Arts Minor, we are committed to providing these global experiences for our students.

The learning experiences of FAA students and the research and teaching of our faculty members are enriched by international study and practice in many different ways.
